Producing music is all about being a jack of all trades.
If you're able to write multiple genres of music, you're going to get more work.
That being said, it can be difficult to step out of your comfort zone. It takes bravery and an insatiable willingness to learn.
Writing Migos style trap music is FAR out of my comfort zone. But I'm always willing to learn.
My research helped me craft a song that was a true to Migos as I could be as a songwriter and producer. I think it turned out well, and so does my client!
